Today the UK MINI Challenge were testing at Brands Hatch in Kent, England - my local circuit and one of my favourite circuits to drive.

They were testing the R56, R53 & R50 UK spec MINI Challenge cars - here are my photos:

I love looking at the Mini race cars, they are so much more interesting.

It seems like the UK series is much more like a club event than a full high budget racing series. I like it, looks like so much fun. Did you ever plan on participating with your Mini (before the crash that is... ;))

I would of loved to of taken part in the MINI Challenge but the entree fees are much too high for me to be able to afford. Also I'd need to upgrade my National B.. Maybe one day but for now I am happy spectating around the UK :)

Interestingly the company that bought my MINI were considering entering it in the MINI Challenge but there wasn't enough time to prepare it for this season..
